Resource Capital Partners has purchased an office building on nº21 of Rufino González street, in Madrid’s Julián Camarillo neighbourhood. The property was refurbished between 2019 and 2020 and is currently fully let to Teyamé, a call center company which specializes in the sale of financial & insurance products. The 4,507 sqm office building is distributed over five floors above ground level and has an underground car park with 26 spaces.
This is the fourth acquisition the fund led by Stéphane Corneille has completed during 2020 following its acquisition, during Decemeber, of a 106-room hotel in Barcelona operated by B&B Hotels on a long term lease. The hotel is located in Mataró in front of the beach at 38 km driving distance from the city center of Barcelona.
Earlier in 2020, the fund bought a tourist apartment building located in Madrid’s Malasaña neighbourhood, close to Plaza de Callao and the Gran Vía street, one of the city’s most important touristic areas. The property has 42 apartments and is let on a long term compulsory lease to a local tourist apartment manager.
In February 2020, Resource completed its acquisition of Suez’s Madrid headquarters on nº39 of Santa Leonor street which had been brought to the market by Partners in Q4 of 2019 as published by Spanishreit.com.
