Cushman & Wakefield has announced the hiring of Jesús Silva Gallardo as General Manager for Spain. Jesús was hitherto working at UBS as head of asset management & head of real estate for the Iberian peninsula.
Having joined UBS in 2007, his last role at the bank entailed overseeing and supporting acquisitions and disposals as well as asset management activity in addition to defining the long-term strategic priorities for the market.
A bachelor in business administration from the Universidad de Sevilla, Jesus obtained an MBA at the San Telmo Business School and began his real estate career at Rodamco Europe where he was an asset manager.
C&W‘s CEO in Spain, Oriol Barrachina, has declared that the incorporation of Silva represents a «great milestone and a huge boost» for the company, in one of the «most important» growth phases the firm has enjoyed in Spain.
