JLL has advised Sum Capital Spainon the sale & leaseback of an office property in Barcelona with REX Spain ZDHL, owned by insurance group Zurich.
The property is located on Barcelona’s Calle Estruc nº9 between Plaza Cataluña and Portal de l’Àngel. The vendor’s co-working business, OneCoWork, will continue to be the tenant in the property which has a GLA of 1,648m² set across five storeys with terraces.
OneCoWork was created by Uri Nachoom, sole administrator of Sum Capital Spain and plans to invest up to €150 million euros until 2023 to open forty co-working hubs throughout Europe.
Uri serves as a non-executive vice chairman at Salamanca Group Holdings Limited and has over 25 years of principal investing experience in the real estate industry where he has built up a substantial portfolio across retail, residential and office property markets and has advised businesses in the UK, Europe, China, Brazil and the Middle East. He serves on the board of Ecocil Incorporações and Marina Port Vell S.A.U.
