Morillas, a Spanish international branding agency, has purchased an office building in Barcelona where it will locate its new headquarters.
This marks Barcelona’s latest office transaction after a strong start to the year which, despite the corona-virus crisis, has seen strong investor demand. The city has received c. €206 million in investment during the first 4 months of 2020, 42% higher year-on year according to CBRE.
The purchaser, Morillas, was founded in Barcelona by Antoni Morillas in 1962 and has offices in Barcelona, Madrid, Tel Aviv, Sao Paulo and Guatemala specializing in advising large corporations on their public image. Soe of the company’s strengths include identity, commercial strategy and packaging.
The office is located on numbers 391-393 of Barcelona’s Calle Pallars in the city’s tech district @22 and has a GLA of c. 2,100 sqm. According to newspaper Expansión, Morillas is expected to relocate in June.
